Dr Fadzil Hamzah
Dr Fadzil graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 2005 and obtained his Masters in Sports Medicine at the University of Queensland, Australia in 2013. He is currently a Senior Staff Registrar at Singapore Sport and Exercise Medicine Centre (SSMC) in Changi General Hospital (CGH) as well as Singapore Sports Institute (SSI), and a visiting clinician at Orthopaedic Sports and Joint Centre in Singapore General Hospital (SGH). Besides clinical work, Dr Fadzil is actively involved in clinical research and audits focusing on Extra Corporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) as well as community health; with some of his research projects being presented on podium at various international research conferences worldwide. He has also been providing medical coverage in numerous local and international sports events. He was the Medical Director for ONE Fighting Championship from 2012 to 2015, and was the Chief Medical Officer for Team Singapore in the Summer Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2018.
