THE MENSTRUAL CYCLE
The menstrual cycle is a wonderful opportunity to tap in to your female client’s physiology. It can be literally life changing; as your female clients get the results they’ve always had to fight so hard for, with so much less effort!
In this course we will gain a basic understanding of the hormone fluctuations that occur in a woman’s cycle. We will learn the strengths of each phase and how to exploit them. We will learn how to modify our training plans to better match her physiology, and thereby get better results with less effort – no more fighting her physiology to lose weight, gain muscle mass, or performance – undulate her efforts to gain these things when she’s most responsive and receptive to your training plan!
Sam is just an ordinary client. One that came to the gym, trained hard, went home, and ate healthily. However, she was always tired, got periodic back pain, and didn’t lose any weight. Her trainer started cycling her training and has given her permission to rest at certain intervals in her cycle. She gives her guidance in when to go hard, and permission to hold back – making training achievable, enjoyable, and more effective than ever.
Even better, Sam’s back pain is now identified as a normal and regular part of her cycle, and instead of “pushing through” it, she has a regular moment in time every month where she backs off and works on her deep core and stress management instead.
IntoYou mini courses are short courses that can be completed in an hour. We release one a month, and you get it free with our Women’s Health Mentorship.
